cant stop the pushrod tubes from leaking oil ..whats the trick?

Sort of taking the engine apart and changing all its seals the most effective way to get them (or any engine) to stop leaking is to connect the oil fill spout directly to the plenum vacuum. As long as your engine is basically sealed the vacuum wont significantly affect the fuel injection and will keep the oil in your car.
