Does mounting 245s front and 275s rear on stock 18 wheels create increased side wall flex or reduced turn in response over the same tires 225/255?

I ask because a 245/40/18 Min. wheel width is 8 and a 275/35/18 Min. wheel with is 9. Does mounting on the min wheel width allowed have consequences?

Thanks,

Jason

going with 245/275 on stock rims means the sidewalls stick out a little bit more from the rims than the factory 225/255 setup (which is actually on the narrow side of the acceptable range).

Reports indicate handling is pretty similar. Maybe a tiny reduction in understeer due to a slight improvement in front/rear tread width ratio. Not much change to transient handling. And a little more protection for those rims from curb rash, plus access to tires which aren't made in 225/255 sizes.
