I get to within 60 miles of home at 6:00 Sunday and the snow is just too much for my car. I pull into a gas station in Buttfuuck Kentucky, population 200. (Shift change required loading and unloading personal weapons in front of me) After waiting 2 hours I finaly get a flat bed. The dude lowers the bed and asks me to drive to the top. The guy is a major moron. I tell him there is no fuucking way I can drive to the top, I'm in the snow and the bed is covered with ice. He hooks up the winch and he pulls me up. He weighed over 350 pounds and just sat there with a hook in his hands, so I do all the work. We drive along and the car starts acting like it is loose. Almost flew off the back of the bed. I scream at him to stop the truck. I get out and fix the problem on the side of the highway. We get to my home, he lowers the bed and insists that I get in the car, apply the brakes and drive the car off the bed. I get in, he lowers the winch a couple inches to unhook me and the car starts sliding sidways off the bed. I modulate the brakes and get it to come off without breaking anything. Mr dumbshiit loses his balance during my adventure and falls head first into my hood.

maybe i sound bitter, but for that much trouble i would have told him to #$@# off and would have called BMWNA. Not like they will do much, but did he dent your hood? 350lbs of redneck lard can have a dramatic effect on the smooth lines of our aluminum hood.

UMP - I hope we get a load of your adventures all through the racing season. I saw the Trans Am opener with Boris Said taking second (Go Boris!)but I won't follow that series too much - that yellow flag stuff just ain't right. Of course, I'll follow F1 (Go One-Of-The-Schumachers!). Right behind my keen interest in F1 will be your foibles and follies. Next time get ONE MORE SET OF WHEELS - Hoosiers with studs. Best regards and let me know when you'll be up at Pocono.

My whole weekend was like this. Example: I go to McDonalds and order. The "bun machine" breaks. I wait for 15 minutes with NO response or explanation from the 12 year old kid at the counter. I tell him I want my money back. He says, "you want it all back" Yes, I want it all back. "even the drink" Yes, even the drink. "I don't know how to do a refund" Even the manager could not figure it out. Finally I get my money and start walking out the door. They scream, "sir, you have to sign the reciept" I walk back and put a BIG X on the receipt. The kid was stunned and just sat there with his mouth open as a laughed and walked out the door. My life is a circus. !!

months ago and my life was like what you described for about a week. Someone told me to sprinkle some salt on my front porch and keep some chicken bones in my underwear, and that lifted the curse. Maybe you should try it. :)
