that looks like a regular E46; will it fit that well on an M3 trunk? Stll waiting for the CSL spoiler for mine.

but on a cabrio there is very little room above the third brake light. Will it overlap the light? Does anybody know if the CSL spoiler will fit onto a cabrio?

it still attaches on the top, it is a bigger and more upright version of the coupe spoiler - it should fit fine.

There might be a part# to order eventually. Wishful thinking.

instead the trunk lid has been stretched out like the original csl concept

But it might look cleaner. Any pics of the official trunk? Only pics I've seen have the add on spoiler.

i was like, oh come on, it's not that bad...

but then i looked again, and it is rather busy! especially because i considered debadging my car...

like that lip spoiler though. would go nice with the ACS roof spoiler. and an ACS front lip, hehe.
I got bored. De-badged and took the spoiler off. Left them off a couple months and decided I didn\'t like it. I special ordered the adhesive and badge to put them back on today.

That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

The earlier pre-production CSL's had what was clearly a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, but the most recent pre-production CSL's have a shaped trunk lid that tapers to a spoiler (Just like steve said). I hope that's what the production CSL will have, and I hope that it can be fitted to the standard coupe! It looks absolutely beautiful, and it looks functional as well. The only thing though, is that I don't want anyone to think that I'm trying to make a "copy-cat" CSL. That's why I'll get a different air-dam/front splitter...

Best regards,
Matt

Saw a pic of a Wiesmann Carbon Fiber spoiler (and side grilles) in the new Bimmer that came the other day. Don't know if anyone in the US distributes that stuff, though.
Mike Metzger
