I was gasing up at this pump in nyc, not knowing that the nossle was less than perfect cause some gas to spill on the side on my car. My friend suggested that I pour some winshield wiper fluid over my paint (all I had at the time) and to avoid wiping the area. What else should I do? My car hasn't been waxed so there isnt much protection over my car at the moment.

wash it real good then re-wax.

just remember to rinse it off and apply wax on it.

Not a big problem..gas often used as tar remover...
Just gently clean with soap and water or car shampoo....clear coat will protect paint..
re wax area....
