I have been looking at the Brembo site and have found no reference to a rear brake assembly, only fronts. I have also noticed many photos of cars on this board with only front installations, but have also seen several with both front and rear. What is the deal with these brakes? Are there mods required to implement the GT series on the rear wheels of the M3? Thanks in advance!

repeat the same for the rear....

will have to cut dust shield to allow for calipers to fit...easy...Tin Snips..and a sanding tool...to sand it smooth....

... changing your brake lines. The Brembo rotor hat doubles as a parking brake drum. Take off the old calipers and rotors, bolt on an adapter, then attach the new rotors and calipers. Install lines and bleed.

As Steve mentioned, you will need to trim the old rotor backing plate. Tin snips or a rotary cutting tool will do the trick here. Just be very careful not to cut the ABS sensor wire which might be hiding right behind the backing plate.
... that you can check out: http://www.zeckhausen.com/E39_BMW_Rear_Install.htm

Because of the smaller rear rotor on this 322mm Mov'it kit, there is a ton of grinding required. The 345mm rotor on the Brembo kit moves the caliper radially outward and that saves you from all that grinding. Don't let my Mov'it instructions scare you off. The Brembo is simple in comparison.
