I've seen some of you who have built or bought a sub box which goes in the trunk (passenger side). I'm looking to upgrade my stereo & would like to purchase one of these boxes. Any thoughts as to where I can find one? As always, thanks to all of you for your knowledge & assistance.

He is a great person to deal with and very knowledgable.
I bought a custom sub enclosure from him and wired a JL Audio 10W6V2 powered by an Alpine MRD-500 (also installed a cap) and ran a custom amp cnotroller into the ash tray. Sounds GREAT. Ill post pics in a sec. Feel free to ask any questions.

Like I said, not as fancy or crazy as some peoples design but I still have a useable trunk and it does sound GREAT...

Evangelo2,

what amp controller did you install? What was the total price for that set up?

Thanks

shoot me an email. It is a custom built cube which fits anywhere in the trunk, very compact housing mated with a 12" Kicker L7 Solobaric. (Very loud!) Along with the sub and enclosure, I have a brand new Xtant Amp for sale. These Items can be purchased together as a package or bought seperately. The box mounts through velcro for easy removal and no holes. This complete package was built by ABT Electronics (http://www.abtelectronics.com) about a month ago. It is an excellent combo if you seek deep bass with minimal space usage. I have all paperwork/boxes/documentation. I'm looking to change directions right now and save a little weight, more interested in track time these days then audio upgrades. Serious inquires only please.

The controller was the Alpine (forgot model number now).
The entire setup with the install I did myself plus quality wiring cost me around 1200.
Email me for more info.

thanks man.. I still need to make the mount for my amp controller! Do you ever keep the ski pass down? Since I didn't get the CWP I am considering removing the metal piece so to let more sound come through into the cabin. Do you notice it sounds better/louder if you do this? I know if I have a seat down it sounds a LOT louder, almost too loud. What do you think?<br>
