I have the very pale tan interior as well. The exterior brown is called Bahama Beige and no one knows where that name originated. The light tan interior appeared under a number of BMW labels, none of which actually describes the colour tone. Pick one: Rommel ruste, Eva Braun, brunhilde.

Will, Brunhilde is the name of my M6. She\'s Cinnabar Red with a Natur interior. Brunhilde is a name (of a tough lady), not a color.

If you send an e-mail to Kai Jacobsen [Kai.Jacobsen@partner.bmw.de] at BMW Mobile Traditions, they will tell you the following about your Bimmer; example, my M6:

\"# 2561154 BMW M6 US was manufactured on September 14, 1987 and delivered on September 24, 1987 to BMW of North America, Inc. in Woodcliff, New Jersey. The original colour was Cinnabar red, with Natur Highline leather upholstery.\"

You can then go to the World Upholstery Website and get the BMW color numbers for the paint, upholstery, and carpeting. I think that your beautiful bady is Natur as well - at least it\'s what I recall from Mystic.

Tobruk indeed!
