The acceleration is more responsive, it's in between normal and sport's mode, also cured my cold start problem eventhough the dealer had reprogrammed the ECU before.I don't know if I gained a few horsepower or not but it's not noticeable. The end result, the car is more enjoyable to drive. <br>M3SMG02

I have an smg and I am concerned that it will increase the throttle response like in sport mode. I find the car very hard to stop from jerking when starting out in first gear. It is just too damn sensitive. Does the reprogramming give the car a less jumpy and less sensitive start?

engaging the clutch (SMG) a little too hard for me starting out in 1st gear. I still thought it was too jumpy for me.

I found it made shifting smooth as silk. My M3 is a standard shift, but I'm sure the same theory applies...
