I know this topic was beaten to death but I am trying to make a dicision. I had redline in my e36 and I noticed a BIG difference. Is one or the other better ? I really never heard of royal purple up to a year or two ago. WHere is the best place to buy redline or royal purple?

I am not sure which one to get. Iknow redline has those two types, is it the same as RP?

Redline leaks in some of our cars because of the viscosity.

Some people (Including myself) report that it leaks from the drain hole.. (Which it did on my car even though properly torqued). Changed it out for RP and not only did it smooth the shifts out but it doesnt leak.

I checked pepboys and autozone, and no luck. I'm itching to do this tonight.

same thing just different weights. I'm not sure what weight stock is. Maybe someone can answer that.
