Spoke with a seasoned veteran racer & he said how much wt. from your car is sprung & how much is unsprung to determine spring weights.

If car weighs 3450 & you use 600 lb springs all around 2400 better be sprung & the balance unsprung as a starting point.

Sounds reasonable so I'm going down this line & since another seasoned different racing company was using 680fr & 600 r it seems even more sensible to try.

With slicks 600f 500r is NOT enough!

Let me know.

on the front, below the spring...total is 30 lbs....so lets say 25 total below the spring..

BBK/rotors for grins keep the number even....lets say 60lbs for all the rotors...

and calipers...Chuck D knows that answer

245 so far with rotors...need the caliper number....


still need front control arm, hub assembly, hardware...
still need rear Lower control arm (what spring sits on), Lower Trailing arm...(what controls toe), (might have those two confused, but you catch my drift)...rear brake assembly, rear hubassembly, e brake, ....

3450 + 170 = 3620

3620 -500 = 3120

Using 50/50 wt you would need 780 lb spings at all 4 corners.

Knowing we need softer at the rear that would come up w/ approximately,

800f & 700r

PS Steve taking you & your car into consideration you would need:

3290-500=2790

700 all around or 750f & 650r

The problem with all this is our shocks can only handle & control 700 lb springs max.

Knowing this for you 700f, 650r or 700 all around.

I'm at 55 front 45 rear....does the math work out the same way?

2990 + 185...= 3175...does the math still work out.
