catch. I tried opening and shutting the hood. There is full battery power as radio and all lights come on. The starter is turning over fast, just no final catch to get the engine started.

Any ideas?
belt whine for the first couple of minutes after start up and then for a second after I shut it off. It restarts no problem. Any ideas?
the same thing. What it turned out to be was a loose or bad ignition coil wire. My brother jiggled it around and the car started.

It fixed it temporarily but again...at times...car would turn but not catch. I finally replaced ignition wire and problem is fixed.

So it might be bad ignition coil. I doubt it can be the wire since car is still pretty new.

My Honda is a 1989 and I think I had those NGK spark plug wires and coil wire for like close to 200,000 miles. Ha ha!

Sounds familiar, crankshaft sensor??

RoadRat

it might be the fuel pump or fuel something regulator. He will also check codes to see if is a crank sensor or cam shaft sensor.

Got me a Jeep Liberty in the meantime.....I'm off to go mudding!
