I had nothing better to do at 4am, so I called the Taiwan company up, muhahahaha :)

Anyway, according to them, they are a dealer/vendor/shop, they do not manufacture, but they are supplied by the local(in Taiwan) company which manufactures and supplies UUC.

So if I understand it correctly, some Taiwan manufacture makes exhaust(maybe even more stuff), UUC imports from them and lable it as UUC items to sell in USA. Back in Taiwan, that manufacture also supply to its' local dealers, who sell it as UUC items since it is essentially UUC items.

More questions? Make a list, and I will call them again if necessary, muahhaahaha :)
It's still a UUC design which means they put the thought into it, they engineered it and blueprinted it. So it's a UUC design. They just gave the design specs to somebody else to manufacture.

Lots of parts in a BMW are made in various countries... but assembled in Germany. To day, I think the strangest part I've seen is the brake pedal pressure sensor... that is made in Checkoslovakia.

More than once had UUC claimed ALL their exhaust products are made in USA.

how do you like your ecisenmann exhaust? still hanging to the right? about QUALITY!

10-31-2003, 10:28 AM
good quality. I have their Rasp-x and I'm very happy with it. It wasn't exactly bolt-on but it was a lot less trouble then the eisenmann. Sounds great now.

it say stuff is made in US?

it up yourself.

This is a direct quote from the owner himself:

Our exhaust products are actually made in a variety of North American facilities depending on which setup and sometimes which assembly component.

I have taken people on guided tours of our prototyping and manufacturing facilities right here in New Jersey (where the bulk of our recent product has been made for the past couple of years) many times.

I will get my stuff made in Asia too if it's cheaper that way.
facilities get their materials from.

There is a fine line on the label "Made in USA".

They probably get some material and piping from Taiwan and perhaps somebody in North America welds them together. Still can be considered Made in USA. Depends on percentage though.

That statement is at least three months old. The E46 M3 exhaust was not available at the time. The statement may have been true then and may no longer be true. That's not "evidence."

Three months ago, I said I live in MA. I no longer do. Does that make me a liar?
---
