Hello from the Z3 Coupe board. I just noticed this Southeast board today. Anyway, I'm looking for a place that does engine and undercarriage detailing. I live in Pensacola, but would drive maybe as far east as Tallahassee and west to Biloxi. I don't try to venture north to the Southern part of Alabama - kind of creepy. J/K! Anyway, anyone have any places in mind. I've never done this so I don't know where to start. I found a few places that might but have to call them on Monday when they are open. Thanks in advance.

You wouldnt happen to have a picture of that push button start, would you? I'm officially in love with push button starts, my friend has one on the floor of her Scout, very cool.
Shabby install. First time around. Sometime I'll go back and make it a little cleaner looking. Email me if you have any questions about it.

For an electrically inclined cave man like myself, it was pretty hard. I didn't even know what a relay was and what it looked like on an electrical diagram. However, if you already know that, then I'd say it is a moderately demanding "upgrade." I got a lot of help from a a guy screen named "Velocity Motorsports" on the relay forum of www.the12volt.com. If you are serious about doing this install, email me with specific questions and/or concerns. Rcanon on the z3 board did the Z8 pushbutton upgrade first. That's who I got the idea from. I just added my on/off switch because I didn't like the idea of having a pushbutton and still having to use the key.

I tried to contact you via email. I'm interested in getting more information on how you completed this project. Also, where you purchased the push button.

How did you bypass the steering column lock without a key.
