I'm considering an M Coupe in the Atlanta area. If you know of a good shop where I can get a pre-buy inspection done that I can trust, please post. I'm not from there, so locations and directions would be cool, too. I'll be near the airport initially, so anything around there would work best.

Thanks in advance.

Off I-75 & Howell Mill Road near downtown Atlanta. Ask for Mike (the owner). 404-351-2002.

Anywhere but there. I, as well as a number of my friends have been ripped first hand by Mike, Robbie and the whole clan. DON'T GO THERE.

There are plenty decent places around...Harrison Motorsports, Munich West, Bavarian Motor Sports, really just depends on where you live. I prefer Ron at Performing Imports. He's a little more than other shops, but he's honest as the day is long, stands behind his work and knows his $hit!

Best of luck.

Ron at Performing Imports, is this the same guy that was caught trying to sell fake moon rocks?

There's a guy off Howell Mill Rd that was the head of United BMW's shop for years before he went off on his own.

There's also Munich Motors (I belive it's Motors) off Peachtree Ind about 1 mile outside the perimeter.

Yes, Ron at performing imports is on his game. He talks the corporate - must sell dinan - attitude, but he knows what he is talking about. I just got the dinan chip from him last week. The car appeared to be smoking a bit (fuel / oil mix). His response was awesome -- something to the tune of bring it by will take a look (no charge of course).

I am trying to contain my laughter - did you say MOON ROCKS!!! PLEASE tell me the rest of the story I have to know. I had herd that he did something stupid and ended up with a ID braclet!

Anyone that doesn't know RON - I would discount his ability or his shop in anyway. This guy is first rate when it comes to these cars, but man...moon rocks?
