Trying to fill a small groove, but its too thin, after several coats. Are there any additives I can put in to make it more glue-like?

one little toothpick...let it dry.....another little layer....let it dry..and so on and so on.

trying to do it all at once won't allow the paint beneath to completely dry....

one touch at a time....sure it will take a number of days....but in the end...its best.
