My oil was changed at the 1 year mark but my service miles counter was not reset. Now it is almost at zero. I scheduled an appointment to bring it in but am not sure what service this will be considered. I thought Inspection I is around 25k miles.

For you, your next service will be an oil change. They give you one oil change per year, but they don't reset the lights, so technically, your car is still in need of an oil change at 12,500 miles.

They do things like that for people who put around 8,000 miles on their car per year. That way, they get the one oil change per year, and then at 12,500 (or whatever increment) it gets another change.

It had been 13 months since 1200 mile oil change and dealer performed 12500 mi oil change at 10500 and reset lights. I had 1470 miles left on the service indicator. All I did was ask!
