For those of you suffering from reflection from your high mount stop light, I found an easy fix. My dealer was worthless, so some American ingenuity did the trick. A quick trip to Home Depot and an inexpensive roll of foam weatherstripping and five minutes later, problem solved. The stop light pops off from the side closer to the front of the car. There's a nice smooth edge, about 3/8" wide, which nicely accomodated my weatherstripping, which coincidentally, was 3/8" wide. The weatherstrip has a peel off backing, exposing a self adhesive edge. Worked like a charm. Depending on the size of your gap (between the stop light and the window), you may want to double or even triple the thickness of the strip.

Hi Stuart,

As a matter of interest, that's exactly what Jaguar fitted to my high level stop lamp when my car was back at the factory. I wouldn't be surprised to see all cars leaving the factory with this fitted now and wonder if it was a part omitted by mistake from early production runs.
