Hi,

Would you share your 2004 XJ8 driving experience in snow? I'm considering this beauty for my wife. Just want to make sure that the new XJ8 is capable of handling a few inches of snow. We live in the Chicago area, so 3-5 times a year we get to mess with the white stuff.

Your input will be greatly appreciated.

I had the fun of driving on about 2 inches of snow in mine a few weeks ago and I was pleased with its ability to cope. I dont have snow tyres fitted because it's a rarity for us nowadays. Obviously not as good as our 4 wheel drive, but the back end seemed to stay in line very well. With the DSC switched on, the car is monitoring all the time for slipage, and again this seemed to cope well.
