Help! My '84 733i seeps gas when the tank is full. But it's coming from the right side of the tank. There's a small round indentation on the top of the tank, like maybe a hose or seal could go there on another model. I couldn't feel any sharp edges or holes, but that same spot seeps gas. Anyone have pics of a loose tank or a tank breakdown?? I really don't want to drop the tank out until I have to.

If you put bar soap on the area it is seeping from , just rub it as to allow the soap to build up, it will stop the leak. Only temp but it works if the hole is not large.
Good luck
