Sorry to say this but it has CRASHED big time against the Euro. I would imagine this wiped out any chance of it coming here.

Since I moved to US the less than two years ago the dollar has lost over 30% of its value. Not to get political but the last tax cut scared away World banks and it is looking like the US will not be able to pay its debts - possibly ever. Hence the dollar is devalued. Unless interest rates rise soon or we get big tax hikes to pay off the deficit then this will not hange anytime soon. I really don't know what will happen to import pricing when the hedging runs out.

Reminds me of an 1980's Emo Phillps sketh..

Long story short -
World Banks (wanting their money back): What did the you (the US) spend ALL that money on?
US: These big weapons that's what...
World Banks (backing slowly away): Oh... OK, well you keep that money for now.

It was very, very funny. The US will survive :)

...then I'll come in to pick up the pieces, and still have some money left to buy another BMW.

Correct timing is impossible though and it takes a l...oo..nnn..gggg time for the market to recover. 1989 -> 1999 in the UK.

They would sell tons of these things. I know will not happen from a timing standpoint but would building the 1 in the US solve the Euro vs Dollar issue.

The US won't be able to pay its debts? What have you been smoking? Keep your amatuer econ views and the political stuff off the board, and back in grammar school where you "learned" them.
