Hi,
I currently drive a w123, an '83 300D, and am looking for a w124 now. Is there a good source for the engine specs from year to year? I am only interested in the diesel, but would like the to find the one with the most horsepower.
Thank you,
Pat

Torque is what makes diesels really move.

A performance chip from Powerchip will increase the power of a 1995 Mercedes-Benz E300 Diesel.

"In standard form, the E300 D 3.0 produces 134 hp and 155 lb.-ft.

Powerchip has a range of chips to suit your car, which can increase it's power to 150 hp, and it's torque to 172 lb.-ft."

That would be great, but I think a '95 would be out of my price range. I will probally get an '87 in the 3000-5000 range.
Thank you,
Pat
