I thought I found the perfect car a few weeks ago, but the owner sold it to a buddy instead of me, so my search continues.

I am looking for a really nice 535iS (or Artic Blue 535i) 5 speed and willing to pay for it within reason (already have accountant, errr, wife's approval). The paint needs to be perfect with no rust anywhere and preferably under 150k miles on the motor/chassis. The suspension is less of a concern, so shimmy or bad shocks does not scare me. If you have the big brake upgrade (e32/e34) that is definitely a bonus. I am NOT looking for a slammed, tinted, dub riding curb crasher. The more stock the better, but tasteful mods would be considered. I realize I am probably searching for the holy grail here, but if you don't want to put another $500 into your classic 535, drop me an e-mail.

I would also settle for a nice 5spd 635csi. Just want something I can transplant all of the goodies off my rusty 85 535i.
