Greetings All,

I am hoping someone can point to the documentation to program
the audio controls on the steering wheel. I thought I had seen
this information online somewhere. The owners manual seems to
reference the base system. Perhaps I overlooked this info in
the Nav user manual.

Thanks in advance,

SWC instructions are in the regular CTS manual.

The CTS-V does not have the SWC buttons... GM replaced those buttons and put the buttons that control the DIC on the steering wheel instead.

So, on the V,
-No voice control of Nav
-No SWC buttons
-No audio controls on wheel.

Urgh! I guess that explains why I can;t find it! To think
the 98 GTP has the audio wheel controls and the heads-up display
and the V doesn;t! Thank you Darrel for the link to the online
manuals.

I am most bummed about the lack of Voice controls for the NAV. It sucks because you can't use some functions of the NAV while the car is moving, but you would have been able to access those functions by voice control if they had left that one stupid little button SOMEWHERE.. I want to find a way to wire that button somewhere (it does not have to be on the steering wheel either)!

Anybody have the RIGHT schematics and an engineering degree? GM?
