Yes, it is. It is darker than the silver smoke color, but lighter than the moonstone color that will be available on 05 CTS and is currently available on the SRX.

Maybe it's just me, but I would have a hard time buying a sight unseen color (esp. on such a rare car). If it was Moonstone (SRX) or Thunder Gray (XLR) at least I could see that in person on another vehicle and then visualize it on the CTS-V. I would have a hard time commiting to order/purchase on a color I have yet to see (in person). That said, I look forward to seeing this new color on this vehicle - heck I might even like it (I like dark gray alot - some better than others - the VW Beetle Grey is great, Silver Smoke is so-so in my eyes). :)

It will also be available on the base CTS, so I imagine there will be dealers who order this new color on base models. If you have not already placed an order, you may have time to see one before your order is placed for build. That is if it is a retail sold order, since the vehicle order can be changed until the car is scheduled for production. Just a thought.

We have ordered a 2005 CTS is this color, so once we get the car I will take a picture of it for you if you like. It is a base model CTS, not a V, but it will give you an idea.

How about the redline that will be available for 2005? Have any pics on a CTS?
