What are the specs on your car again? I'm slowly learning to shift smoothly from 1 to 2...I've took it out on the West Seattle Bridge during lunch...nice clear sunny day! :)

It's been 3 days and I have ~140 miles logged so far...

I wouldn't say they did the best job, but hey, the labor for a full install was only like $70 or something.

chance to drive it. I picked it up saturday, drove it home, drove it around sunday, and it sat in my garage on monday and tuesday! I didnt drive it again until last night. I've got an appointment with Stongard in Bellevue next week. I've been trying to drive it pretty hard (below 6000rpms) to break the engine in. Today is the first day I drove it to work in Seattle...and I was crossing my fingers it wouldnt rain. What a great day!! I shouldve taken it out during lunch too, but I had too much paperwork.

Here are my specs:

Black Nappa interior
19" OEMs
Width adjust
Lumb Support
HK Sound
Premium Pack
Cold Weath

Did you get smg or stick?? Your working in Seattle right?

If you join BMWCCA you get 15% discount, which equals to $100 off for me. Its gonna cost me $550 for the complete kit, with headlights, foglights, turn signal protection too. It would have cost $650 without the CCA membership. And membership is only $35 a year so its much better to sign up first.

Eastbound to the Lake Sammamish area to grab a Fatburger for dinner. I'm still having a hard time learning how to drive the SMG smoothly. Are you adding anything to yours, like Stongard, tint, etc? Did you lease or buy?

Are you parking on the street or in a garage? I'm pretty lucky to have a covered spot in an outdoor garage.

Congratulations on your new car.

I purchased (leased) mine last Tuesday. We have almost exactly the same car, color included - only difference is I don't have the alarm.

1200 miles seems like an eternity.......just passed 400 today.
