My CLK320 arrived last week by truck at 1030AM, the police report for the accident was taken at 630PM. Ruined the very 1st day. Has anyone else been in an accident? I have 22 pics of the damage if anyone wants to see it. I took it to the body shop referred by the other person's insurance company. The trunk floor is crumpled, the rear bumper is destroyed, the rear passenger quarter panel has two dented crumples, they say the motor mounts broke, you can see damage underneath the car and under the spare tire. They say it will cost around $5600. Sounds cheap to me. They are going to repair the bent muffler and quarter panel. Am I being had? It is a non Mercedes body, the kind that fixes everyhthing. We called a MB dealer and they said insuarance companies don't pay their higher rates, so I went the the insurance company shop.

I'm getting the car back from the body shop soon. I would like 18 inch AMG style wheels. But in the meantime I wanted to ask what you think of the following cars (like mine) with these wheels. They are not the wheels I want.

didn't know they made these cars in 4 wheel drive:-)
anyway,if you decide to upgrade to 18in wheels,i'd put some lowering springs in there to avoid that 4wheel drive look...
