Lately, I have experienced something weird. While going around long sweeping exit ramps (going to the right...haven't tried the left yet) DSC is kicking in and I feel a strange heavy vibration coming from the brake pedal. I have gone around these exit ramps at much greater speeds and have not had any issues whatsoever. In fact the only time I have ever noticed DSC coming on is under heavy acceleration in a straight line. I am running brand new S03's on the rear (19's) and the fronts have about 10k miles. The tire pressure is 35 rear and 37 in front. Car is an 01 6 speed. Any ideas as to what is causing this??? Thanks.

If the tires are indeed brand new (like < 500 mi.) you can expect less traction in the rear and for DSC to kick in more than you're used to...

The shuddering from the brake pedal sounds like the DSC kicking in.

The S03s are grippy tires... they're be better after the initial slipperiness wears off (most tires are slippery for the first few hundred mi.).

settled in yet....usually takes about 250 plus miles...

sounds like a little understeer, i've had the same scenario happen at the track in the wet....talking wet wet...slick turn 4...

you're describing the same feeling i believe...

give the tires a lil more break in time...

i've got a set of 90 mile old toyo's on the back right now....they're all over the place.
