Earlier this week had to make a cross-country from the Shenandoah Valley in Va to Durham NC. ~200 miles each way. Good bit of mountain, and most of it (by choice) on two lane roads. The XJR handles exceptionally well in the twisties, and when you're behind the 18-wheelers -- lorries to those in the Mother Country -- and/or pickup trucks -- the vehicle of choice in rural VA and NC -- it sure does take ALL the drama out of passing on two-laners! A very theraputic drive. I highly recommend such activities.

Last week drove from Phoenix to So. CA. 362 miles. 4 hours and 18 minutes of pure bliss. 100 to 110 degrees outside for 75% of the trip and a wonderful 73 inside the cabin.
