chuck seems to be having the sub-8k redline, but I dont

in any case, the reason I responded is that i know I have the latest software on my car....confirmed with my sa yesterday

.....and if you read back a couple of days RS2 (i think) confirmed there is no 7500 limit

333hp, or its equivalent, at 7900? I'll feel assured when someone rips off 4.7/13.3's@ 108 like the old days.

if it revs to 8K (mine does and it has the latest software and I happen to beleive comforti as well) and makes top power at 7900 why would it make less power or are you just looking to start yet another baseless rumor?<br><br><br><a href="http://m3.madrussian.net"><img src="http://osbdesign.com/webpics/m3v5.jpg" border=0 alt="Go To BMWM3.org!"></a><br><br>

To stop all rumours about ECU and SMG software (http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/e46m3/5607210.html)

I know why the ECU software upgrade with CD38 (http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/e46m3/5616436.html)

I know people say something may be wrong with my car.. maybe.. I duno.

But the limiter is set perfectly in each gear so that after it kicks in and you upshift the momentum of the engine carries the RPMS to 8K. Each gear it gets a little less aggressive.. so when I am in 4th it kicks in a 7900.

Just gonna get flashed anyway.. fugg em.
