My newly acquires 81 300D loses vacuum to the door locks after a couple of hours of sitting. I know there are vacuum lines EVERYWHERE.
What's the likely culpprit and how do I go about systematically troubleshooting the leak?

go to the white plastic vacuum line connected to the large plastic brake booster vacuum line , and have a friend who smokes(because I know you don't , and I don't) blow ciggy smoke into the white plastic line that goes thru the firewall and open all the doors and trunk . look for the ciggy smoke escaping . that's where you start.

the vacuum hose routing and placement of all the diaphrams and how to find them is contained on the excellent cd's . Buy at dealer or online houses.

How did you go with this lack of door lock vacuum problem? I have the same problem with a 300D.
