I know the BMW/ipod kit is not supported for cars with navigation.

Yet, I just have to believe it's in that category of, "it technically works, but there's some slight issue" such as, there's no place to mount the control box or something.

Any word yet on why it's not supported on cars with navigation, and has anyone tried to get it to work anyway?

You can also just use the Aux input in your glove compartment. I have it on my 03 with Navigation and it works fine. I rest the iPod in the front cupholder

the icelink shows the track mumber on the Nav screen. When I finally get the M3 back from the dealer with either the service axction or a new engine, I will post pictures of the intall. I like the idea that I can see the iPod screen and have unlimited playlists.Holly
