I had hoped that the transporter would be here this evening, but as I type, he is in Ohio and is, instead, planning to be here early in the AM. I asked what "early" meant to him. "Around 8AM". Drat ! I am up at 5.
Then to the registry (arrrrgggghhhh - RI is terrible) and finally to Michael's Motorsports in Wayland, MA for an "insepction".
Photos to follow delivery - probably 1 or 2 tomorrow night.
Stay well all,
Paul

Will be heading to Michael's shortly.
Will snap and post some photos and as soon as I get to the track, you'll have some in-car video. Come to think of it, maybe I'll shoot some driving around town.
Stay well all,

but took it for a drive - ~120 miles total and it felt different and great. Like my 850CSi, it goes too fast compared to what it feels - so looking at the speedo is a must. Handles great, though I didn't push it too much at on- and off-ramps as I am not yet familiar with it's handling traits nor the tires. Brakes are sensitive, but good modulation and unlike most street clutches I have used, this one seems to be either "on" or "off" - more like a race-car clutch. Power is good, but again trying to get a feel for the car before testing it too much. Have to be honest, though, there is nothing like the brute torque of a V-12 - 550NM (405lb-ft) in my Euro CSi, but the HP to weight ratio is better in my Lotus. Very comfortable to drive, though I might need a telephone book to sit on (only 5'5" and my wife never lets me forget it).
Biggest problem is - other drivers ! Sheesh ! Nearly hit by too many other drivers trying to see what this low-slung yellow race car might be.
More impressions to follow more seat time and of course, the videos will be posted once shot.Stay Well,
Paul

...it. It never fails to put a smile on my face.

I found one of the most challenging things about the car was getting used to its (lack of) rear visibility. Now I am used to it and don't have any problems, but for the first couple of weeks I was terrified of changing lanes until I got the hang of where to look.

Looking forward to pics!
