It is either Alamo Motorsports or Alamo Autosports I think...we dynoed some Z3s before and after exhaust mods there a few years ago...the guys that ran the place were pretty nice.

If a dealer does not have that equipment they would direct you to a dealer approved source as for window tinting. The only people who touch my 330i besides the dealership are the mobile detailing professionals.

I doubt that your average dealer knows or cares about dyno testing a car.

BTW: as an ex-employee of a company that had a wholesale business catering to car dealers I can say with some authority that the dealer does NOT have your best interest in mind when they subcontract or refer jobs out to other businesses. They have money in mind and typically choose the cheapest bid from a company that does average work. Window tinting is the perfect example of this and dealers pick the cheapest (like Alta Mere) who charge the dealer about $79 for a sedan and the dealer then charges you $190-350 for this average tint job.

My window tinting was $200 at a top quality shop that tints the more expensive cars in town.

I'd like to talk to them about their Dyno. Doesn't matter where they are. I spend a lot of time on the road all over the state. A phone number and contact name would also be appreciated if you know who you work with there. Thanks. Trent

Speedworks in Carrolton on 121 is the best place to go to imo. They usually charge about 45 for 3 pulls.

No problem. Do you have the t-hooks so you can dyno? You dont want them strapping down your control arms. I would suggest buying some. You can pick them up from NOrthern Tools for about $8 each and you need 4. If you dont know where they hook up, they will take care of that for you. here is the link for them

They know that their customers are the richest people in West Texas and New Mexico who can afford about any car they want.

X5 tinting is $350 from the dealer because the X5 is very difficult to tint.
