i have a 98 and wish to changeout the interior air filters. where are they located? i understand there is one on each side of the foot area. thanks in advance.

Only one filter compartment. Fairly easy to remove, clean or replace. Filter drops down from the housing and only fits in one direction. White fabric material in corregated configuration.

I would clean the filter out with a low pressure air nozzle and then use a spray-on type product that would enhance the filter efficiency - you can find the stuff in any hardware store. It also removes any mildew smell that may exist on the filter.
