Hayaku and Zivagolee for their efforts above and beyond the call.. and to Mike_M3 for his most excellent DIY.

Oh and to you too Brett.. for taunting me while under the car. Your efforts inspired (pist me off) enough to finally get the #$*^&%!! carrier pin installed!

SSK and car are doing great.. shifting is extremely solid and SHORT. Shifts goes into gear with quick click click.. gotta love it.

I will be nursing my nicks and scrapes for the next week though.

Thanks guys!!!

And finished just after 5PM.. that was with time for lunch and many short "I am so frustrated I can't ^$#@*&!! believe it!" breaks. So about 7 hrs.

We made a mistake and installed the selector rod backwards tho. So after we finished it took another hour to get that flipped around. Luckily I was able to do it without disassembling everything again!

The two of you together probably would have pist me off even more and shaved another hour off the time my hand was jammed up inside the transmission tunnel!

so working height is about 8'6" or so... we can get the typical car up about 3 to 3.5 feet in the air, maybe even 4 feet...

had a few choices in home garage lifts, but i wanted maximum flexibility so two post had the most clearance under the car. you can do any type of work, engine swap, tranny, suspension, exhaust, etc....

next house is gonna be tailored to a working garage hehehe<div align="left">

There is a big sticker on there that lists it and also say it is lifetime oil.

The techs never changed it 1200.. I wonder if there was a change in service policy they didn't document on the service checklist? I'll probably change it when I do the diff fluid coming up.
