I'm comparing this to my 88 325is bmw, is it about the same in regards to servicebility? I know that it'll easily outlast my bmw, but is it as easy/easier to repair? I know that the Driveshaft also probably has the non-serviceab;e joints like the BMW's do.

thanks for any/all help guys!

240D is pictured in the dictionary for the word SIMPLE .

buy the repair manuals on CD frpm the link here ( http://adsitco.com/ ) - or any dealer

and actually the 325iS should last just as long as the 240D
.... it all depends on YOU.

C.D, you make this message board a great place to get info. I guess both cars would last about the same time, esp. considering I tend to over-baby my cars (i.e. frequent washings, oil changes, tune ups etc)

thanks again
