I wouldn't change it if I were you. The Z06 team has done a hell of a job at both saving weight and creating torque and horsepower. As you know most of the exhausts for performance cars cost horsepower they don't gain it. In the manufacturers labs they add horsepower or torque but not in controlled monitored environments.

The Z06 has a smart flap (technical term) which stays closed and restricts the exhaust flow at partial throttle and low rpms to help create more torque. It's wide open at full throttle or when that beast of a motor is pumping out it's 100 cubic feet of air a second.
