Hi all,

Is there any BMW meets/clubs in the Providence or larger RI area? Where do those of you here get your cars detailed? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I used to get together with the Boston M5 crowd a few times each year (I am in the process of selling my Euro 850CSi and would bring that to the meets). Last year there was a large gathering in Newport - M5s and a few other marques from all around us.

Might keep track of this link:

M5board.com E39 forum (http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?s=822f912595eb9960ae062c410fbd380 c&f=3)

Terrence Fung was the ring leader for the get-togethers. There is a guy, "TCM", I believe, that is in NH that that has a great deal of support for his outstanding detailing.

Stay Well,
Paul

I would have thought there'd be more RI activity. Do you think the Boston groups are good enough that it's worth joining them and making trips up for what they do?

Thanks.

is that they are a GREAT group of people and I have enjoyed a number of trips with them. They regularly get together in Boston (the Cheescake Factory in the Atrium) as well as in a state park off of 93 (Exit 3) and in Hammonhassett park in CT (A bunch of NY, CT, RI and MA people got together for that one). Whenever these group drives happen, there is always a post meeting lunch/dinner event though usually an impromptu thing.
Look at the board in my previous link - there is always something happening and I will try to make it to the next one, whenever that is.
Stay Well,
Paul
