What would be an easy way to test the fans on the radiator? Should the AC kick the fans on with the key off? What relay is used for the fans and where is it located?

Thanks,
Chris

It is my understanding that when the fluid level in the cooling system expand to a certain level, the cooling fans kick on. My 2001 was overheating due to not enough fluid to trip the sensor.

The fans kick on with the AC but without AC they are not consistant without the AC. It gets to dangerous levels if I dont have the AC on. The fluid is topped off as it should be so I dont think it is a coolant issue.

This is getting more odd. I have to turn the heater on along with the AC to keep the car running cool. What gives? It does take alot longer to heat up with just the AC running. Any help please?
