Can anyone help me out. On very cold mornings. lets say around 20 degrees. The car makes a very loud banging noise from under the hood for about 4 or 5 seconds and then it goes away. Anyone know what it could be. I think it could be the oil freezing and the oil pump having trouble but is 20 degrees even cold enough for oil to freeze? I have sent it to the dealer to get checked but they say they cant duplicate the problem as always. Also when inside in the car while its on and no radio or climate on i can hear a little ticking noise. Sounds somthing like the second hand on a clock. And its constant sometimes even gets a little loud. Anyone have that occurence? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
