Re: Aluminum trim question your side trim is anodized aluminum--scratches in the metal are not removed nor removable by simply polishing them as described. about the best action would be to have the anodizing removed by a professional metal finishing outfit--then have them polish out the finer scratches--deep ones won't go away but may become less pronounced--and in the future simply keep the trim polished with a non-abrasive polishing method.
Aluminum trim question Gave in my aluminum trim to get polished...The guy says there coming out nice and shiney...but the scratches still remain..any ideas..products on how to remove the scratches? The person who is doing the polishing owns a car wash detailing company he is not a professional metal finisher. Thx Giorgio
