Never claimed to own an M5. Most here do not Elf!

Curious about the car and was way back before you started blowing your little usual. Hell, my secretary was about to roll on one.

Funny how you always want to feel so unique. ;)

My test drive in the Sled Pig was fun. Always nice to wring out a vehicle in the Hill Country. My compadre enjoyed Buzzy as we swapped cars for that run. :D

Loosen your bullets Pretentious One. Feel free to blow hard about another toy. Always makes for interesting reading with your added pompous slant.

How much you planning on losing when you sell her? :P

    you just steal bandwidth

notice that 3/4 of the posts on this forum are yours and you don't even own the car. yes, we've heard, you 'know' three whole people who do. pathetic.

Sounds like you're the one in "love" Hooplehead!

Ol' Keebler does have an entertaining [email protected] site which is quite interesting.......which I've always given him credit for.

He's quite the little elitist however which is why it's fun to ring his bell from time to time. Single Malt just has the Red_*** currently because I upset the apple cart on his goofy plan to own an M5 for 6 weeks and then flip it. ;)

The VERY same plan two other Rednecks I know were attempting. that the bottom's falling out on this car, it's going to be rough.

Driven the Sled Pig myself and it's a fast car.

Maybe you can help your buddy out by buying a t-shirt from him? Lord knows he needs the cash. :)

Did I steal your thunder Keebler? Your analysis... incorrect here, just like so many other forums you post and bloviate on. ;)

Explain to me how I'm now president? You obviously make so sense. Russkie logic I reckon. :D

You must NEVER tire of being smacked around like a red-headed stepchild. :P

    Not John B.

You're obviously really obsessed with DP.

Why don't you just get it over with, and ask him out on a date?

Bottom line, DP's got the mojo here, amigo. That "look at me" site that you mention has been enjoyed by more people than you can imagine. It's actually pretty nice to have a guy this interested in cars, and doing pretty well for himself, to share the little slice of his life without being obnoxious. I've never met DP, but having read his posts (here and on his "look at me" site) for a few years now, I'd defend him against a poser like you in a New York minute.

  • 12-04-2005, 01:16 AM

    we would...

but you'd invite yourself in and elect yourself president!

ever notice you do that on every forum you post? like this one for example.

When you going to figure out The Internets amigo?

You're the double / triple posting Czar of The Flea! ;)

You strange Hooples should start a club! ;)

As always make zero sense. :P

    well, you'd KNOW :)

the p500 mode is not noticeably different from p400, but p500sport responds quite differently. it tends to leap off the line (a bit abruptly even) and it doesn't take much throttle before you're revving pretty aggressively.

now i wonder if the dealers might be enabling p500s on demos to impress prospective customers? there's nothing inherently wrong with using that mode during break-in except that it's exceedingly easy to bust the 5500 rpm limit (and in fact rather difficult not to).

the way the mdrive works is that the m button selects whatever is programmed for the mmode. my car came with mmode programmed for p400 and no way to change it (i could see the menu but not access it), so while hitting the m button did light up the appropriate LED in the dash the car remained in p400 (it could be put into p500 by pushing the power button, but not into p500s).

Worked for me as well. At least I think it did.

  • 12-03-2005, 06:35 PM

    why so defensive?

oh, and i guess the post immediately below addressed to Zapper isn't yours, huh?
  • 12-03-2005, 05:49 PM

Not everyone.....just mostly you Single Malt! ;)

You love to get on your high-horse and wave your Know-It-All flag proudly. :D

Yes indeed. Hiding in plain sight. ;)

Love your doggy by the way.

    You or your horse? :p

  • 12-03-2005, 05:27 PM

who wants to ride a chihuahua? not me.

funny how you're so quick to label everyone in sight as rabid, insecure and needy of attention - hiding from something, are you? ;)
  • 12-03-2005, 05:02 PM

You saddled this bronc Keebler. Was minding my....

......own business when the water-logged Russkie attacked! ;)

Lets see if you can ride her out. :P

  • 12-03-2005, 04:52 PM

God Lord.....Ol' Dp did'nt read his manuals! :P

It's always the details in life that bite you in the "A". :D

He was probally getting his oil changed at this place. ;)

  • 12-03-2005, 04:42 PM

figures - throw a morsel of attention your way

and you're tangling in my feet again jumping up and down... i should know better i guess.
  • 12-03-2005, 04:40 PM

so you could access the mdrive menu?

i could push the m button too but the mdrive mode was configured for p400 so that's all it would do and there was no way to change that until after the first service. maybe your dealer cleared the setting at PDI... mine certainly didn't. i can access all modes now of coures - just need decent weather!
  • 12-03-2005, 04:23 PM

I just pushed the 'M' button.

P500 sport was available from day 1.
