Re: Roof/window open remotely via key fob

By any chance does anyone have the installation instructions for the E85 Remote Roof Module? I just replaces a 2003 Z4 with a 2008 Z4 and need the instructions to switch the Module to the new car.

    Thanks!

    Correct, that's the point.

To each their own. Some people will spend $2,000 for non-functional things that make the car look pretty, others will spend 250 Euros to get a convenience feature. I wouldn't venture to suggest one or the other is "worth it."

    Different folks, different values.

    Well, to each their own.

After all, some people spend $2,000 for wheels that do nothing different from stock.

Re: Can you give more info?

German company, module allows open and close remote by pressing remote three times. Got mine on E-Bay but I don't think they supply to states.

    Can you give more info?

Can you give us more info about this Reinhold remote module? What can it do? Where did you get it from? Cost? I tried googling but the results were not helpful.

    Thanks.

April 2004 is the build date, I just missed but have fitted the Reinhold remote module which allows both open and close, works great.

Roof/window open remotely via key fob

Does anyone know from what MY (or model month, if applicable) the top and/or windows can be opened remotely using the key fob?
I am NOT talking about the key in the lock and hold routine.
    Thanks in advance.
