new 645/650 likely to depreciate faster than M3... ...until the new M3 comes out. Then I dunno.psybj '06 ///M6 Silverstone '02 Acura TL-S PREVIOUS: '02 ///M3 SMG '01 ///M3 6sp Acura 3.0CL Dodge Stealth TT AWD VW Thing Acura Legend Cpe. I'm 27 and will go with the........ 645 only cuz no one has it... and it turns more heads. It will hold value it's a new body style. 645 !!!! get it. I'm picking up a used 2005 hopefully this week

i'm actually 29... leaning towards the M, but i did like the interior of the 645 a little more, plus the fact that you rarely see them on the road.

Very different cars, depends... I had 2 e46 M3s, tried the 645 several times, got the M6. I felt that as I get older the 645 was becoming more my speed. The M3 was a racer, the 645 a cruiser that was extremely competent. The M3 has far more entertainment value. The 645 may be as fast under practical purposes but no match on a track. At 65 I woudda taken the M3 over the 645. At 72 I suspect I would take the 645 over the M3. Being between those 2 ages I dunno. If I didn't have my wife's Acura TL-S available I might have been tempted to trade the M3 for a 645 due to greater flexability in town/heavy traffic. It is a great car. (Fortunately I was able to get the M6.) psybj '06 ///M6 Silverstone '02 Acura TL-S PREVIOUS: '02 ///M3 SMG '01 ///M3 6sp Acura 3.0CL Dodge Stealth TT AWD VW Thing Acura Legend Cpe. Re: Choices - 2004 645ci or 2004 M3...any thoughts? If you want great performance, comfort, trendy, and a great tourer that your wife will enjoy go for the 645. Fantastic car. However if you want to be on the edge of your seats, still have the boy racer in you, and are always looking for back roads to let it rip then there is no comparison. Go for the M3 with SMG.Your wife may not want to ride with you but I will !! I'm in 2006 650i convertible now, but do I miss my 2002 M3 convertible ? Yes................
