Re: Hi All, '91 M5 - front wheel bearing - are they The M5 bearing has the locating dowels for the brake rotor and is unique. However standard E34 bearings will fit, but you will lose the added locating accuracy.

Let me know if you want me to ship one to you I used to sell a ton of stuff on ebay--and I have shipped things all over the world. E-mail me directly. I can't imagine it would cost you over $250 US per side shipped by me. Installation is only 1-hour labor.
Let me know if you want me to ship one to you

They are 100% different I just replaced mine. You need to know your manufacture date too. They switched wheelbearings in 1991. Mine was 11/90. I ended up paying $200 for the bearing and $50 for the install for the right front. If you can't find a deal on a bearing (usually on the stealer has them)--let me know and I can refer you to my shop and they can ship one to you.

From what I see... the part number for the wheel bearing is 31-21-2-226-640 My ETK shows that it is compatible with the Euro 3.6l e34 M5, and the Euro e32 750iLS (sport package 750iL?). Whatever the case is, I think you're screwed, and will have to buck up for the M5 one.
