    Yeah, it is hard to read with the original German grammar and English words that nobody really uses.
    I think it is saying that next year will be a development year for the E92 M3 Coupe with a 4 liter (probably V8) engine. What isn't clear is if the cars will be raced at all next year. It is really hard to tell from that article. I think it means that they won't race the car next year :(

    The curtain hasn't fallen yet but any support is welcome. New management at BMW AG means new thought processes and sometimes less than perfect transferral of information. If a factory race effort for M products is important to customers and fans of BMW, by all means, let them know.
