there is a flimsy bracket that holds the brake light switch (and an even flimsier clutch switch bracket). Make sure it isn't bent and works properly. The switch should actuate when the pedal is depressed only slightly. Scottie Sharpe

I have replaced 1 bulb but the rest look good. I like feeling around, it woks on skirt too.

but what the heck do you expect to accomplish by feeling under there?
I mean at the very least you need to LOOK >>> get on your back in the footwell and see what is going on...

also the two problems could be unrelated? the check light flashing means to check the display up on the roof.. if is shows brake flashing you need to check if all the brake lights are working.

Seems to me that you have a bulb out and a switch stuck on also..

brake pedal yet? You should be able to feel or hear the switch make and break contact when the brake pedal if moved if the lower interior trim piece of the dash is removed.
