    I have a stick with no a/c. The current console has the radio up high and an open space below.

    I believe that it depends on what center console, AC, etc you have. On my '76 with Clardy AC, no adapter kit was needed. The radio is on the bottom and the back of the radio rests on the trans. hump.

    DIN stereo question

    Does anyone know what year New Yorker adapter kit works to allow the installation of a DIN style stereo in a '76 2002? I've seen it referenced as a "late model", but no specific year. Has anyone successfully done this using the New Yorker adapter? Where did you get it?
