2nd complex of turns I believe it is heading into 11, the start of the back complex after the chicane. It's good to pull out the pics, gotta start planning for memeorial day!
2nd complex of turns
on 2nd thought if that is the 2nd complex of turns after the back chicane then that could be loading. The pic of mine is approaching the roller coaster so attitude is a little more standard_______ GC RTAB shims, RSMs, T/S Coilover with Koni DA f/SA R & 450#f/550#r Eibach ERS Eyeball Arm CA mounts Sunbelt CAMS w chip for 24# injectors, Euro MAF, Conforti/ITG CAI 96+ exhaust manifolds Euro fLoAtErS, Ferodo DS2500 accessory UDPs M roadster lever All done in my garage

definitely, IIRC rake is supposed to be 1" That's what I set mine too back then. Starting with as low front as possible. Which was very near the bottom threads on the GC units I have._______ GC RTAB shims, RSMs, T/S Coilover with Koni DA f/SA R & 450#f/550#r Eibach ERS Eyeball Arm CA mounts Sunbelt CAMS w chip for 24# injectors, Euro MAF, Conforti/ITG CAI 96+ exhaust manifolds Euro fLoAtErS, Ferodo DS2500 accessory UDPs M roadster lever All done in my garage

Yes, lower I'll look for a picture this evening. It's definitly lowered, but I don't know what the original height was, I just have notes on where I set it for the track.
Yes, lower
I had mine very low at Barber in 2004 see the pic in the signature_______ GC RTAB shims, RSMs, T/S Coilover with Koni DA f/SA R & 450#f/550#r Eibach ERS Eyeball Arm CA mounts Sunbelt CAMS w chip for 24# injectors, Euro MAF, Conforti/ITG CAI 96+ exhaust manifolds Euro fLoAtErS, Ferodo DS2500 accessory UDPs M roadster lever All done in my garage

Re: Thinking of buying an E36 for track and have ??? I've enjoyed the process of selecting the pieces, installing them and tuning them. This has been slow as I only get to the track once a year. This year it will be brakes, as they weren't doing their job last summer. Added greatly to the excitement! Given my once a year visits, I'm tempted to sell out, but it's such a blast when I do make it. I've done suspension and diff only, no internal engine mods so far, only 70K on a '95. Dan

How long do the engines last before needing a rebu rebuild??? I know it is probably based on a number of factors but what is a good general rule? 2003 M3 SMG Tit-Silver 2002 silver WRX 2003 330XI Prem/Sport/Cold/Step Steel Grey (Supercharged, Dinan & lowered - Sold) 2003 330XI Prem/Sport/Cold/Step Steel Blue(Sold "old blue") Remember, You are what you eat. I found it fun to build my own It's fun to mod it the way you want it, and maybe do it gradually to appreciate the changes as it becomes the car you want. Of course, many cars listed already have the popular mods you listed. I wouldn't pass on a modified car if it's what you are looking for and the price is right. Either way you go, it's a great track car. I would also work on the suspension before I did any engine upgrades. I won't break into mine until it needs a rebuild, then I'll do the cams, manifold, etc.

e30 makes a good track car too, lite However the strut setup is not as easy as an e36, for swapping stuff out. Depends on how serious you are, there can be rear subframe issues. I don't have plates or thicker sways, but others. Usually heavier springs make up for sways or vis versa._______ GC RTAB shims, RSMs, T/S Coilover with Koni DA f/SA R & 450#f/550#r Eibach ERS Eyeball Arm CA mounts Sunbelt CAMS w chip for 24# injectors, Euro MAF, Conforti/ITG CAI 96+ exhaust manifolds Euro fLoAtErS, Ferodo DS2500 accessory UDPs M roadster lever All done in my garage

Thinking of buying an E36 for track and have ??? Not sure if I should buy a E36M3 close to stock and built it, OR buy something that already has some of the mods I want on it already. Looking to put on camber plates, springs, swaybars, bushings, cam , exhaust ,CAI, track alignment etc.... Im thinking It would be less $$$ to buy something built already but not sure about this is the way to go or not... Was also thinking of the to be released tii, but I think this will be much less $$$. 2003 M3 SMG Tit-Silver 2002 silver WRX 2003 330XI Prem/Sport/Cold/Step Steel Grey (Supercharged, Dinan & lowered - Sold) 2003 330XI Prem/Sport/Cold/Step Steel Blue(Sold "old blue") Remember, You are what you eat.
